Every civilization and every faith has spoken, in its own language, of a day when the world will be filled with justice and peace.
When we look into ancient stories, sacred scriptures, and even the myths of nations, we find traces of a shared truth:
humanity has always believed that a time will come when oppression ends and hearts find peace.
In both East and West, voices have foretold the coming of a deliverer.
In the divine religions, promises of justice have been given.
Even in the folklore of nations, legendary heroes symbolize this hope.
This hope is not merely a wish; it is the testimony of the human heart’s eternal thirst for that Mine of Peace.
It seems as though every heart, unconsciously, awaits a common truth—
a truth to which history itself bears witness: the Savior.
If we turn to the religious traditions of the world, we see that the concept of a “Savior” is not a limited belief, but a universal reality:
In Christianity, the promise of Christ’s return to establish universal justice.
In Judaism, the expectation of the coming of the Messiah as deliverer.
In Islam, the glad tidings of the awaited Mahdi as the center of hope for the faithful.
Even in Eastern religions, the vision of a future Buddha or the Kalki avatar stands as humanity’s expectation of salvation.
All of this reveals that across cultures and religions, humanity is waiting for one and the same figure—
a figure who promises not only justice, but the gift of true and lasting peace.
THE SAVIOR IN THE VIEW OF THE SCRIPTURES
Book of Daniel, Chapter 12, verses 1–2 (Old Testament): “At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered. Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt.”
Haggai, Chapter 2, verses 6–7: “This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. I will shake all nations, and what is desired by all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory,’ says the Lord Almighty.”
Psalms 37:9–11: For those who are evil will be destroyed, but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land. A little while, and the wicked will be no more; though you look for them, they will not be found. But the meek will inherit the land and enjoy peace and prosperity.
Zechariah 9:9: Rejoice greatly, Daughter Zion! Shout, Daughter Jerusalem! See, your king comes to you, righteous and victorious, lowly and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.
Malachi 4:1–3: Surely the day is coming; it will burn like a furnace. All the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble, and the day that is coming will set them on fire, says the Lord Almighty. Not a root or a branch will be left to them. But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays.
Matthew 25:31–33 (KJV): 31. When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: 32. And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33. And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
Luke 12:35–37 (KJV): 35. Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning; 36. And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately. 37. Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.
Mark 13:24–26 (KJV): 24. But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, 25. And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. 26. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
Revelation 1:7: “Behold, he comes with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of him.”
