What is Peace? Peace: A need beyond comfort.Across every corner of the world, humanity is searching for one shared treasure: peace.Bigger homes, greater wealth, more entertainment—all are pursued in hope of tasting a moment of peace.Yet, why is it that even after gaining these, something still feels missing? Humanity’s timeless search for peace From the dawn of history until today, humankind has ceaselessly sought a resting place for the soul.Sometimes in the shadow of philosophy, sometimes in the shelter of faiths, and sometimes in the noise of science and technology. Looking back through history, we find traces of this search in every era: In Greek philosophy, thinkers spoke of balance of mind, freedom from worry, and liberty in action. In ancient India, peace was sought through spiritual paths and meditative practices. In Islamic civilization, peace found meaning in the remembrance of God and in social justice. In the modern age, humanity believed that through science and material comfort, peace could finally be attained. But history has shown us this truth:Each time humanity has drawn near, something has always been lacking. The peace achieved proves fleeting, fragile, and incomplete. This endless thirst reveals one thing—that true peace lies beyond material abundance and beyond what human hands alone can create.
